Flower Umbrella Portrait Session | Huntington Beach Park | Orange County, California

I hope everyone is staying safe at home amidst the coronavirus outbreak that is happening around the world. By reading this blog post I hope that it’ll help you take your mind off of current events. A few weeks ago I got connected with Dawn who is a wedding florist through the Asian Creative Network LA Facebook group. She made a post where she was looking for photographers and models for the flower umbrella that she created. One of my goals this year is to do more creative concepts for photoshoots so I immediately messaged her. Little did I know that my friend Anita also messaged Dawn and I was pleasantly surprised to find out I would be working with her. I rarely go to the OC so this was a great excuse for me to visit Huntington Beach and the surrounding areas. When we arrived at Huntington Beach Park, we saw that the cherry blossoms had just bloomed. There were so many other photographers out with their tripods and long lenses photographing the cherry blossoms. Our main goal wasn’t to photograph the cherry blossoms, but rather to photograph the flower umbrella with the models near the cherry blossoms. We spent hours taking photos and I’m really happy how these shots came out! Check out the photos below!
