Bianca CSUSM 2022 Graduation Portraits | San Marcos, California
I hope you guys are staying cool and are having a wonderful summer! This was my first time doing a graduation portrait session at Cal State University San Marcos. If you guys don’t know where San Marcos is, it’s about 35 miles north of San Diego. It’s right next to the city of Escondido. According to the 2020 census, the population is about 96,000. San Marcos is one of the up-and-coming cities in Southern California as there are new food places and shops that are being built each year. CSU San Marcos was founded in 1989. It is a relatively new campus in the California State University system.
There were actually quite a few good spots to take photos around campus. We started Bianca’s grad session at Science Hall 2 where she took a majority of classes during her college career. We then moved on to this hallway nearby, where the lighting was coming through perfectly, to create these interesting shadows. The garden area is another popular spot on campus to take grad photos. We went to the steps with the row of palm trees which were at the end of the other side of the school. We ended the grad session at the CSU San Marcos sign at the front. Congratulations Bianca on graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences!
