Downtown Santa Ana Urban Engagement Session | Chenni & Rex

I’m super excited to share this engagement session that I did with my friend Chenni & Rex! I got connected with Chenni through a Facebook group and met her for the very first time at an event two years ago. It wasn’t until recently that we got reconnected and started talking about all things photography. She messaged me one day to see if I was interested in photographing her engagement session, to which I happily replied, “Yes!”. We decided to do the engagement session at Santa Ana Train Station and Downtown Tustin. Can you believe that this was only the second time we met in person? It was so much fun catching up with Chenni & Rex!

Chenni & Rex met in November of 2017 at the Billard Sports Bar where Chenni used to work. Rex was a friend of one of Chenni’s regulars, and they immediately hit it off after their first interaction. After their first conversation, Chenni gave him her number, and they’ve been talking ever since! After almost four years of dating, Rex popped the question on May 29th of this year. This was the first time where I heard the significant other say “No”, not in a literal sense but in a shocking sense where Chenni was genuinely surprised that Rex asked her to marry her. One of the funnier moments was when her friend asked her during the proposal “So that’s a YES right?” just to confirm. Check out these photos from this beautiful engagement session. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding next year!
