Happy Holidays! I hope you’re staying warm and cozy in this cold weather. A few weeks ago me and my good friend Eva did a Christmas lifestyle portrait session at Santa’s Village in Irvine Regional Park. I’ve never been to a place so decked out with Christmas lights and there were so many photo opportunities throughout the village with different lights in the background. If you’re in the OC, this is definitely a great place to take your friends and family for a festive time. There are so many activities that are perfect for kids from ice fishing, blizzard ball, carnival games, cookie decorating, arts & crafts, and more. You can also purchase tickets in advance to ride the Christmas train to see Santa.

Santa’s Village is free to enter however, you will need to pay the $3 vehicle entrance fee to enter Irvine Regional Park.

They do allow photography as long as you don't have any professional lighting equipment that may get in the way of others. DSLR cameras are fine. I saw a grad session going on at the same time so any normal holiday portraits would be ok!

Hours of Operation:

Weekdays 4 PM – 9 PM

Weekends 10 AM - 9 PM

Ticket Pricing for Activities:

$6 for each activity

$80 for 15 tickets ($10 savings)

Irvine Regional Park Entrance Fee:

Weekdays $3 per vehicle

Weekends $5 per vehicle

Holidays $7 per vehicle

Free after 6 PM
