Oregon Tech Graduation Photos at Pirate Tower | Laguna Beach Graduation Photographer
Ella chose one of her favorite Southern California spots for her graduation portraits: the Pirate Tower in Laguna Beach. Tucked away at Victoria Beach, this hidden gem isn't well known to many. I'd photographed here before and knew the area well, so when Ella reached out about doing her grad session here, I was thrilled to capture this milestone for her in the heart of Laguna Beach.
We started at the steps leading down to Victoria Beach. The area was quiet that day which is one of the reasons why I love shooting here. We then made our way down to the beach with the Pirate Tower as our backdrop. Ella brought unique props that added a personal touch to her session: a "graduATEd" fake cake and a bouquet of flowers. She also brought a picnic blanket, which allowed me to capture a top-down shot of all her meaningful items laid out together. If you are looking for a scenic location to do you graduation portraits at in Orange County, I highly recommend the Pirate Tower.
